110 - Calling the police |
|
If you are in Estonia and need to contact the police, please dial 110 if you are using a local Estonian phone or your cellular. The command and control centre will receive your call. Here are some guidelines for making the call:
Remain calm; explain as quickly and clearly as possible what has happened, where it happened, and who is calling;
Remember and tell the duty officer as much information as you can about the persons, vehicles and other related aspects;
Be ready to answer additional questions;
Do not end the call before the officer lets you.
In case of fire, rescue services and ambulance:
A single emergency call number 112 is in use in Estonia for calling for fire and rescue service and ambulance.
Calls to 110 and 112 are free of charge.
