Activities of volunteer rescuers

A volunteer rescuer can perform both rescue and prevention work.

Rescue work means responding to rescue events with a rescue officer or on one’s own, based on the instructions given by the officer.

Prevention is the provision of information and guidance to the public to ensure that everyone would create and value safety and security, helping to reduce the number of accidents and thereby the number of deaths and injuries, as well as the magnitude of the damage caused by accidents.
