Estonia is divided into 4 different regions – North, South, East, and West. The Estonian Rescue Board has a rescue service in each region. Regional rescue services are responsible for carrying out rescue works, supervision, prevention, and crisis management. Press officers on duty provide information on emergency situations around the clock 365 days a year in all regions.
